Yuriy Rudenko, born in 1983 (Kyiv, Ukraine). Former engineer and busimessman, who with the beginning of hostilities in eastern Ukraine became involved in volunteering assistance to the Ukrainian Army. In 2015-2016 he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine as part of the 5th wafe of mobilization, and participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation. Since 2016 he has been studying, documenting, and popularizing history of ATO, becoming author and director of documentaries on the fighting in eastern Ukraine. Yuriy believes that "modern history has no white spots, because thanks to technical progress, every participant in the events, who has even a smartphone, is already a documentalist." In addition, Mr. Rudenko is the author of several books that present ATO events in the adventure novel format to simplify presentation for the general public.
